Our Unique Retreat
NOTE: A one-lane bridge on Echo Dell Road CANNOT accommodate vehicles with trailers or RVs. You must approach Rocky Ridge from Sprucevale Road or Leslie Road. There are signs warning people not to go down the road with trailers but you will get to Rocky Ridge before you get to the bridge.
A Unique Retreat
Rocky Ridge LLC provides a short-term rental experience near the serene Beaver Creek State Park. This 140 year old farmhouse is a combination of rustic and charming. While not highly modern, guests can enjoy basic amenities for their comfort that far surpass primitive camping. For the trail rider, horse stalls are available for an additional fee and a service road is directly across the road that allows access to the state park's scenic trails. Our property is strategically located close to Garwood Arena, Treharne Arena, and the bustling Rogers Flea Market and Auction, ensuring that entertainment and nature meet for an unforgettable stay.




House Rules
Bed space for 4 guests. Two additional overnight guests are allowed if you want to provide your own sleeping space (e.i. air mattress, tent, etc.)
Any dogs must be contained in crates/kennels if left unattended in the house.
Any dog waste within 50' of the house needs to be picked up and disposed of.
Any smoking is only allowed outdoors and never in the barn.
Blue, plastic shoe covers are provided near both entrances for your convenience. Otherwise, please remove shoes at the door.
Before Checkout:
Wash any dishes and put them in dish drainer to air dry.
Collect towels/washchlothes and leave on the floor near the clothes washer.




The Barn
Well behaved dogs are welcome. If left unattended on the property, dogs must be securely contained in crates or kennels provided by the owner. The barn has five 12' x 12' box stalls available equipped with rubber mats. The pet fee is $25 per night per animal regardless of whether it is a dog or a horse. Bring your own food, hay, and buckets. For your convenience, Rocky Ridge has bagged shavings ($8/bag) available for purchase if you prefer or you can bring your own. Muck buckets and manure forks are provided for stall maintenance. Guests are required to pick up after their animals. Any stalls used must be stripped prior to checkout to avoid an additional $50 per stall cleaning charge.
Barn Rules
EQUINE STALL RENTALS
By booking this property, guests bringing horses ("Equine Guests") explicitly agree to the following terms, which are a mandatory condition of the stay:
Separate Waiver Required: Booking is strictly contingent upon the guest signing and returning our external Short-Term Equine Boarding & Liability Agreement HERE within 48 hours of booking (or immediately if booking last-minute). Failure to sign will result in a cancellation of your stay.
Ohio Law Notice: In accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 2305.321, equine activity sponsors are not liable for injuries resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities. A signed liability release and compliance with posted barn signage are legally required before any horse may enter the property.
Health Documentation: Guests must provide a copy of a Negative Coggins Test (issued within the last 12 months) and up-to-date vaccination records for every horse entering the property. Please email these along with your signed waiver.
Strictly Self-Care: This is a self-care facility. You are entirely responsible for the feeding, watering, stalling, turn-out, and daily waste cleanup of your horse(s). No feed, bedding, or stable labor is provided by the host. Bagged shavings are available for purchase. Bring your own buckets for feed and water.
Unauthorized Animals: Only the specific horses listed and approved in your signed agreement are permitted on the property. No outside trailering-in of friends' or visitors' horses is allowed.
Guests are expected to strip their stall at checkout to avoid a $50/stall cleaning fee.
Explore
Experience comfort and adventure all in one location, just steps from Beaver Creek State Park. The park offers hiking trails, mountain bike trails as well as 23 miles of bridle trails. Fishing in the creek is an option and the park also allows hunting during the season. There are several other parks in the area with hiking trails to explore.
The Rogers Auction and Flea Market is less than 10 minutes and open every Friday, year round, for your shopping pleasure and treasure hunting.
Mountaineer Race Track and Casino is approximately 30 minutes.
Pittsburgh is an hour.
Cleveland is an hour and a half.
